Blue Like Dallas

Donald Miller was awesome!! We took a group of 4 RD's and 17 students down to Dallas to see him om Saturday...and he is great...he is really nice, funny, and incredibly down-to earth. He signed my copy of Blue Like Jazz and I had to buy his other two books, also!! I can't wait to dive into all of them-it is just so hard to find "pleasure reading" time these days, but I definitely look forward to that day...

God is just really working in my life right now. He is teaching me so many things-through my girls, through a relationship, through trying to figure out how to balance a job I never leave and Graduate School that is kicking my booty...through patience, humility, love, and so many other avenues.

I am so thankful for that-there was such a long time when that was not the case and I sure did not feel His presence as much as I do now...because I had let satan drag me down so far-it was hard to see up.

God is good-ALL the time!!! I am SO thankful for His abundant blessings, and I just pray that I continue to use them wisely for His kingdom...
