Wow, where has the time gone?! I cannot believe that it is almost Christmas!! I am still in Abilene and have had an empty residence hall for about a week now!! This can be both a blessing and a curse, but it has been wonderful to relax!! I am traveling to Fort Worth today and will be there through Christmas, then Lubbock next week to do Christmas with the Towns' and see everyone, which I am really excited about-because I haven't been there since October!! That is just too long to be away. Then if all goes well-I will be heading to Nashville after New Year's for the Passion tour!! I am WAY pumped about that.
This past year has been amazing-filled with ups and downs, and many MANY blessings along the way. Not the least of these is this wonderful job that God provided for me-it could not be more perfect for this time in my life! God always provides-hallelujah for His faithfulness!! It is amazing how much Abilene has now become home-I am so happy here. Highland also has become home to me this year-and that is a blessing. I already felt like that at Minter Lane, but that is due to the fact that it is much smaller-but getting to know the people and be more involved at Highland has been such a blessing. I love and am so thankful for both of my wonderful church homes here!!
I pray that you all have a most wonderful Christmas with your friends and family, and that you are blessed with a time of relaxation, rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of joy!! If you get a chance, you really need to go read Mike Cope's blog today-what an incredible story!! It had me in tears-I hope to make that a tradition in my family. Thanks for sharing, Mike!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS!! "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." ~Luke 2:14
