The Great Tradition

It has become a wonderful and special tradition for me to go Artesia, New Mexico and stay with my best friend's family for the 4th of July. Her dad puts on the most AMAZING fireworks show I have ever seen-and of course, it makes it even more fun to be right there at the front and to be with them. They have truly enveloped me into their family, and it is such a tremendous blessing!! I love them to pieces, and am really thankful for this tradition, that I hope will continue for many years...

This is one of the cutest babies EVER!! I really think I am in love with her...this is my best friend's sister's baby.
This is seriously one of my favorite places to eat on earth-I have to go eat there every time I go there!! Yum...
This is their mom-I love her!! She is just too much fun-and very patriotic!!

I was just blown away by these fireworks-they get better and better every year that I go-this year was just absolutely SPECTACULAR...
I could not believe what great pictures my camera took of the fireworks!! These are just small glimpses of this amazing display.

After hearing you and the Mallett's talk about the Deans' fireworks show, I feel I must see one sometime!! The pictures you got are amazing! I'm glad you had a good time.

I glad you got to enjoy the Artesia fireworks show. We really wanted to be there this year, but it just didn't work out. Maybe next year we can manage it and run into you at the same time. :)
