God has you on quite a journey...

I have an interview on Monday in Lubbock-YAY!! :) Ever since I took this new leap of faith, I have really been trying to leave it in God's hands and allow Him to take me where I need to be. I will go into this more later, but one by one something would not work out with every job lead that I thought was promising-and I am not sure why, but still believe in God's plan. I would love to move back to Lubbock, but am sometimes afraid to say that outloud...

I just hate job hunting and am more than ready for this to be over. Maybe it is sheer optimism, hope, frustration-well, probably a mixture of all three-but I am really praying this works out. I know that God can use me anywhere I go if I will surrender myself to Him, and would like to be back in a place where I have community and family already in place. I hope that is not selfish-I don't want it to be, it is just where I am in life right now.

Anyway, if you will please pray that it goes well-I would greatly appreciate it!

Jerrod is continuing to improve-he has been in rehab for the last week and he stood up to hug us on Wed when we went to visit! He should be released to go to outpatient rehab on Mon or Tues, and will be there for awhile-but everything continues to move forward, and the family is so thankful!!

One of my favorite people, James, who I have not seen in a long time was there on Wed, and we were talking about the job situation-we have both been through some interesting times, and he said, "God has you on quite a journey, doesn't he?" Yes, James he sure does-much of it I have not understood, but I trust in His infinite wisdom that He really will work things out for the good of those who love Him.

May you all have a blessed weekend! :)

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. ~Romans 8:28
