New look, great concert!!

Major props to Melody for my blog makeover-thanks, girl! :)

I went to an incredible concert on Saturday with my niece. It was an all day event, and it was awesome! I definitely have a new favorite band that had an incredible performance-Skillet. I had heard them on the radio, but man-in person they just ROCK!! The first person that came out was a guy on a fiddle and he was AMAZING!! I really enjoyed them-and would love to see them again.

A guy named Francis Chan had some powerful messages and challenges for us to really be living out Christ in the world (more on that later), Jeff Johnson and his band led us in a powerful worship time, and to top it off we heard Jeremy Camp and MercyMe! I have heard them before, but I love it each time. It was a great day, except for the massive migraine I had the by the end of the day!! It was a blast to experience it with my niece, though-it is so fun to have a concert buddy who loves it as much as I do!! :)
