The Body of Christ

Thanks to all of you who lifted up prayers for me yesterday-I can't tell you how much I appreciate it-I could really feel them cover me-I truly do pray that God blesses you more than a hundredfold!! I was thinking today about all of the people who very recently have been or are still being affected by tragedy and/or sickness, and about how many people all over this world are lifting them up in prayer, and it really struck me how much we rely on and are SO incredibly blessed by the body of Christ!! And then I began thinking about the people who do not have the body to rely on...and I don't have a clue how they make it!! I would not survive without it, and I am so thankful for each one of you. My e-mail was flooded with people who gave me incredibly encouraging words, Scriptures, and told me they were lifting me up to our Father.

When I wrote the previous post early Tuesday morning, a lot had just taken place, and I won't go into all of the details...but I was crying out to God and just felt so desperate and so I decided it was time to call upon you, my faithful prayer warriors. Thanks so much for stepping in...

"The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts; and though all its parts are many, they form one body. So it is with Christ...But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wanted them to be...If one part suffers, every part suffers with it; if one part is honored, every part rejoices with it". ~I Corinthians 12:12, 14, 18, 26
