Well, I am home in Fort Worth again with more back problems...all I have to say is UGH!! I had to leave work early on Thursday and then had to miss the last few days of work, but hopefully will be returning to Abilene tomorrow and back to work on Thursday. My mom had to come pick me up again, and I was planning on already coming home for Mother's Day (which was my first one to be at home in 8 years!), but I was planning on driving myself, and not staying this long-although it is nice to be home, but not nice to be missing out on more money. What a wonderful mom I have, though!!:) Please pray that I will be able to make it when I return...I am a little concerned, although I have improved a lot in the last few days-I just don't want another relapse!!
I am WAY excited about this weekend-it is Senior Sunday at Broadway and Rodney (affectionately known as Oglethorpe to me) who is one of my favorite people in the whole world and who was our preacher, and our old worship minister, Adam, will be there-and I can't wait!! I am also going to do a little job hunting and apartment hunting while I am there, and am looking forward to that. I can't wait to see everyone!! I always catch up on my hugging while I am there. :)
I really enjoyed my New Testament class this semester (even though my grade does not necessarily reflect that!) but I learned a lot and I have to admit that it is the first time I have read the entire NT-and it was definitely a blessing. I love reading passages that I have read all of my life-and yet something new comes out every single time. I am also taking a Maymester class in 2 weeks over the Lord's Supper & Baptism, and I am looking forward to that-I think it will be a very beneficial class. I love being able to get 3 hours done in one week-even though it is a ton more work-it is worth it!! I hope you are all having a wonderful week and that the Lord is blessing you in every way possible...
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of sheep, equip you with everything good for doing His will, and may He work in us what is pleasing to Him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. ~Hebrews 13:20-21
