Here is the latest update I have from my friend James (who I have not talked to in FOREVER and talked to for over an hour!!) who is also close friends with Rudy:
First of all, thanks for all of the prayers-God sure is amazing because Rudy had surgery on Friday, and it looks like he will either have gone home yesterday or today!! James said he will have to wear a neck brace for about a month, but other than that-he is going to be alright!! WOW-Praise God!!! I certainly did not expect him to recover this fast from the grim outlook we first received. All I can say is God does work miracles and He certainly did work one for Rudy. Thanks again for all the prayers being lifted up-I know and believe that He heard and honored them!!
What a mighty God we serve...

Oh my word Katherine, I've been so behind in reading blogs. Man, I'm sorry to hear about your friend, but now I'm happy to hear that he is doing well. Wow, that is so great that he is able to recover the damages.
