Summer Lovin'

Wow, sorry it has been so long since I have posted: 1) I have been on cloud nine since I found out I got the job!! 2) I have been chillin' out, maxin', and relaxin' all cool in Lubbock, and 3) My computer is on the blink and I have had neither the time nor the energy to fix it yet.

I start training for the new job next week, which will thus end my vacationing time in Lubbock, which has been wonderful, because I know when next week hits-it will just be craziness from there!!! I am WAY excited, though-I can't wait!! After training ends on Friday, I will come back to Lubbock and we will leave for Rockcleft at Pine Springs on Sunday where I will get to spend a week with my Broadway kids-I am also WAY pumped about that!! THEN...once I return from camp, I will move in and officially obtain the title of Resident Supervisor.

Everyone I have talked to has been SO encouraging-telling me how proud and how excited they are, how this is the perfect fit for me, and what an incredible deal I have (don't I know it!!) Thanks for all of that encouragement-it just makes it even more exciting. God DOES provide-sometimes you just have to go through the valleys/ desert for awhile. Anyway, hope everyone's summer is going GREAT and that you had a wonderful time celebrating our country's independence!! I will tell you about my July 4th excursion later...for now, it is pool time!! :)
