I'm melting...

Well, I've been in training all week-learning how to tell if someone is drunk... learning how I cannot give out information to angry parents about their children when they come, and figuring out that I may be in over my head! ;) No, not really-I do feel like I am on information overload, though-but the good thing is I have lots of wisdom that surrounds me and that I can rely on, and it will definitely be a learn-as-I-go type experience, which is both exciting and scary!! The staff I am working with is AWESOME and I am blessed to be a part of this group whose desire is to minister to these students.

After training ends tomorrow, I will be packing up and heading back to Lubbock, where we will then be loading everything up on Saturday night to head out to Pine Springs early on Sunday morning, which I am WAY excited about!! Mountains...trees taller than my head...coolness...oh I am SO ready!! I have to change clothes 3 times a day in Abilene-I miss my pool in Lubbock...

Then I get to come back...pack up my house...and move down the road to McDonald!!! The apartment is AMAZING, and I get my own office across the hall...which will definitely put a new spin on "going to work" HA!! Wait a second...I AM the job!! Anyway, lack of sleep is taking over, so I will sign off for now.

I hope that you are all having a wonderful and blessed summer and are not melting away somewhere!!

At least you're melting and not floating - we're doing both here in Houston!! I am so glad God has provided for you, as we both knew He would - we just don't always see the provisions when they arive! I keep praying for you! Love, Daesha
