Cloud Nine

Wow, I just heard the most amazing thing: As you all well know, I love and adore my job and the people I work for and with. It sure does make your job easier when you work for, or more importantly work and serve WITH awesome men and women of faith...and I certainly am blessed with that here at ACU!!

Anyway, I was talking to my boss and the wonderful lady who hired me, Mimi Barnard, and this is what she said, "You were a good hire, Katherine Gould-keep it up!" It totally made my day!!! Man, you just have no idea-after looking for 3 years and waiting another month and a half on this job...I landed a pretty dang sweet deal, and don't think that I don't thank my God EVERY day for bringing me here!! This job is such an answer to prayer-lots and LOTS of prayer by many wonderful people...and lonely, tear-filled nights of crying out to God in despair. But He answered-like I always knew He would even when it seemed darker as it could ever get. It is just so amazing what an incredible fit this job has been and what an amazing opportunity for ministry was placed right in front of me. I am a VERY blessed woman-how in the world could I ask for more?

I am just SO incredibly full of joy right now-God is truly working in my life in amazing ways-I can't even explain or describe it, but He just blows me away every day with His love, mercy, grace, and blessings. I don't deserve it AT ALL...but I pray that I can use what He has given me to bless others and I can spread His light to the whole world...
