Seriously?

So, this whole ordeal about finding salmonella in peanut butter is crazy. I hardly ever eat peanut butter, but go figure when I do I actually get sick!! I have been incredibly ill the last few days after eating some on Wednesday. Needless to say, I am discarding it and I want my money back!!

If you have any Peter Pan or Great Value peanut butter that have the numbers 2111 on the lid-THROW IT AWAY...NOW!!!

If this is the culprit, I may never eat peanut butter again!! ;)

yeah so, Kat.....Peanut butter really IS good for you!! Don't give up on it just yet.

But who would have thought? Salmonella in something as innocuous as peanut butter?! And it's so scary because it's something I feed my children on a regular basis!

Much like not expecting to find a fungus growing in a wound care cream, you don't expect to find a harmful little beastie growing in your peanut butter. I mean, it's not like it's cow butter!!

Hope you get better!
