Wow, what a year this has been...it has been quite a challenge and I know I have grown like never ever before. There have been moments where I wondered what God wass doing and I still have those moments, but I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that He IS moving and working, and I am so thankful.
I am thankful for another year that I could be used for God's kingdom and glory. I did not ask nor deserve it, but it was given to me as a gift to be used to glorify Him, and I hope it did just that. I pray that I will continue to allow my life to be a living sacrifice for my Father and that I will always realize that it is a gift.
I am going to re-post my one from my last birthday (with a few numerical changes):
28 years ago today a wonderful lady decided to give birth to a 2-week premature baby at Hendrick Hospital in Abilene, TX. She also decided that for whatever reason she could not raise her, so she allowed her child to go through Christian Homes of Abilene so that she could be raised in a loving, Christian home and live an absolutely incredible life.
I do not know who or where she is, but I am so thankful that she was willing to do all of this so that I could live the life I am today. I have been WAY blessed in the 28 years of my life, and I pray that God continues to use me to do His will.
"For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful,
I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be". ~Psalm 139: 13-16
Here is to another year of growing in the wisdom and grace of God-the adventure continues! :)
