The new has come...

This has been a really awesome day! I have really recognized lately that school is just consuming me and so much of my time and I don't like that-I only have about 7 more weeks to spend with these lovely ladies of McDonald for this year and want to make the best of the time we have left. So I was praying that there would be more opportunities and that I would really allow time for them, and it was great today because I had a steady stream of people in and out of my apartment today and I loved it! I think the new chair draws people in...and keeps them here ;) I finally got the chair and a half I have been searching for since I moved in more than a year and a half ago...and it is wonderful-tan microsuede with an awesome ottoman that has storage inside. It is beautiful and I LOVE it!! It just changes my whole living room, makes it look much more welcoming and of course provides more seating. I actually happened upon it in Big Lots and it was just what I had been looking for. I spent many weeks looking in a variety of stores last semester and had not found what I wanted, and here I just pop in to Big Lots and there it is! It was even cheaper than I expected. Go figure...





I am also really loving this weather-woo hoo for spring being here! Speaking of, me and one of my RA's tested the theory that an egg can stand on its end during the equinox. Although I have never really tried doing this at any other time of the year (which I have heard also works at other times than the equinox and this is likely a myth), it did work for us, so for now I will believe the theory :)
