Tools of God

Please continue to pray for Jerrod and Danny.

Jerrod is improving and progressing incredibly-proving how amazing prayer and God is!! They thought they were going to have to place a permanent shunt in his brain to help the fluid drain, and planned on doing that today-but when they did the CT scan this morning, it was 50% better!! Amazing!! :)

They were all in such wonderful spirits when I was up there today (which they really have been in great spirits the whole time-which has been so inspiring), but even more so today. He will be moved to rehab tomorrow where he will remain for 2 weeks. God continues to work a miracle in this Godly young man, and we truly praise Him for it...

Also, please pray for me-I am heading to Lubbock tomorrow to pursue a job opportunity I would REALLY like to work out. I have not posted much about my job pursuits here, but most of the jobs I have applied to up to this point have not worked out for one reason or another, which naturally has been pretty disappointing and frustrating...but I know that there is a plan. I would still love to go back to Lubbock, and would love for this to work out. I will let you know if it does!!

I am just incredibly restless, am tired of waiting, and of course the money is getting low. I am more than ready to feel like I have a purpose in life again. I don't know what to do with myself half the time and just feel like I am wasting so much time...so I am really going to try and make it happen this time, and I would appreciate your prayers!! God is definitely working on me and I can see Him working all around me, and am thankful. I don't think I can adequately put into words what He has been doing the past few weeks-especially the way he has really touched me and reached out to me through the Shelton family. Without even knowing it, they have helped guide me through a difficult time. I am incredibly grateful for them and their impact-it is strange how connected I have felt and how much I think about them daily. I know I say this a lot, but isn't the body of Christ amazing? I am not thankful they have had to go through what they have by ANY means, and I know they are not either-no one would want that, but I am grateful that through this ordeal God is using them at this time and they are being His tools of mercy and grace.

May we all strive to be used as His tools to help further His kingdom...

I'm interested in hearing about the job! I pray that all goes well! Yes, you are right, the body of Christ is AMAZING! I'm surprised everyday by how I've been blessed by those who don't know me, or know me that well, but because of Christ, we are family! I hope you have a good week!
