I went back to the hospital yesterday and had another awesome conversation with Jerry. He just encourages and inspires me in ways he has no clue. They have moved Jerrod from the CCU to a regular floor, and Jerrod (with help from his PT) walked into the waiting room where we were, sat down and was on the computer catching up! We were remarking how wonderful and amazing it was that it was only a week ago he was in surgery!! He has definitely progressed marvelously, and God continues to work a miracle in his life. Praise God!! They should be moving him soon to rehab where he will remain for at least 2 weeks to be able fully recover. They should know today if the tumor is benign or not, so please pray that it is!!
I found out today that they did find cancer in 3 of the 5 lymph nodes they had taken out of my cousin, Danny. They think they can treat it with radiation, and no chemo-which is great news. We thought previously that there was no more, but now we know otherwise, so please continue to pray for Danny and that they can get rid of all the bad cells. He is only 34 and has a long life ahead of him-and we need him here to live it!!
