I was able to go in and see Jerrod today-what an awesome kid!! :) He was sitting up in his recliner, and we were able to have a good conversation, even though he still hears the grinding noise (like 2 grindstones grinding together-poor guy!) in his head and is having a hard time speaking-he was even joking around. I am happy he is doing so much better! They moved him out of the CCU today and onto a regular floor, so that is good news! The doctor was joking that they would need a Mayflower mover to get all of their belongings from the waiting room to the new room-which is so true! He said he loved us both-he is so sweet! What an inspiration to us all...
Here he is with me and my mom:

Continue to pray-they should release him on Friday, and they will need to stay in Plano for another 2 weeks for physical therapy and for monitoring. He has come so far, though-praise God for that and pray for continued healing!! He is so inspiring-I know God is going to continue to work miracles through him.
