I read this the other day from a sermon, and just had to share:
Jesus, sensing a need among His disciples, took a basin of water, and washed His disciples' feet.
Pilate, confronted with a man in need of his help, took a basin of water, and washed his own hands of the problem.
Every time we meet or interact with anyone, we choose how to use our basin of water. Will we wash their feet (meet their need), or will we wash our hands (ignore or pretend not to be aware of their need)
