This is my first year to REALLY get into American Idol, and this season is AMAZING!!! My favorites from the beginning have been David Archuleta and David Cook. David A has such a sweet innocence about him, not to mention an amazing pure voice, and David C can just rock it!! He also seems humble and gracious. I also love Brooke and Carly-they are awesome. I was TOTALLY shocked that Michael was the one who was voted off tonight!! I am sure he will have an awesome career, though! Before, I had been surprised that Kristy Lee Cook has made it this far, but she has been right on the last few weeks! Tonight they all sang Shout to the Lord-that was way cool!! I love American Idol Gives Back, but I don't think anything will top last years performance of Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up" with the African Children's Choir!! It is absolutely beautiful!! It gives me chills...

my favs are the david's.... archuleta from the beginning, he is amazing isn't he? then david cook, what he does with the arrangements is so original and on target. i can't wait to buy either one's album. i do really like carly and Jason, too, but the davids are the tops in my book.
i, too was really ready for kristy lee cook to leave a few weeks ago (with ramiele) but she has stepped it up the last couple of weeks. i think brooke and syesha (no particular order) are the next to go.
i have enjoyed reading your blog over the last year. your devotional thoughts and musings have been quite moving. i admire your discernment into not rushing into anything job wise, but letting God guide you into what he wants you to do. Hang in there, it will be clear and a Godsend, wait for his timing. i know you must hate the word wait, waiting is the hardest thing ever. i really admire and appreciate your focus word "thankful" especially in the midst of your season of "wait".

Hey Kat! So I saw on your Facebook profile that you had a blog and decided to read it just now. I read this entry and I am SUCH A HUGE FAN of idol! I've been watching since season 1!
I am in love with David A and Brooke! I was shocked with the bottom two on last night's show (April 16)!! I was very impressed with David Cook's performance this week and he is now one of my other favorites! I'm glad to know there are other Idol fans out there! :) Love ya!
