I have an interview in Lubbock on Monday, and I am really excited about it...though I have learned not to put all of my eggs in one basket, I do have a good feeling about, and once again solicit your prayers!!! Thanks so much-I have been so incredibly blessed with a great family and body of believers that is willing to lift me up in prayer, and cannot express enough of my appreciation :)
In the meantime, to make some money and help people out-I am working at FEMA in their call center to help process people calling in who have been affected by the recent hurricanes. I am still in training and have not officially started yet, but have already been told it is a humbling experience-and I believe it. I hope to be of help; especially to these people who now have nothing, or have no idea what they will be returning to when they do-if there is anything to return to. It is going to be quite a long journey for so many of them, and I continue to pray for all of those affected.
I leave you with these words of inspiration and encouragement that really resonated with me, and hope they inspire and encourage you:
Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined! ~Henry David Thoreau
Never let the odds keep you from doing what you know in your heart you were meant to do. ~H. Jackson Brown, Jr.
Use what talent you possess: the woods would be very silent if no birds sang except those that sang best. ~Henry Van Dyke
When one door closes another door opens; but we so often look so long and so regretfully upon the closed door, that we do not see the ones which open for us. ~Alexander Graham Bell
Experience is not what happens to you; it is what you do with what happens to you." ~Aldous Huxley
What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly." ~Richard Bach
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you did not do than the things you did. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover! ~Mark Twain

I loved the last Mark Twain quote. I have quotes written everywhere. Thanks for sharing and prayers for Monday! You'll do awesome.
Good luck!!
Great quotes- I like the Henry Van Dyke one about your talents.
I've done the FEMA thing you're doing. It is incredibly rewarding! Make sure you take your breaks, though . . .it's easy to get overwhelmed when you're dealing with such loss! You'll do great!
I'm so excited for you! I wish you the best and can't wait to hear about it! Keep us posted! Yeah!!!
