A-mazing!!!

Ok, I am not turning this into a sports blog, but I do have to give credit where credit is due! Jimmie Johnson did something that has only happened one other time in history-by Cale Yarborough in the late 70's...he has won three straight NASCAR Sprint Cup championships!!! Simply amazing. I don't even just say that as a huge fan of JJ-but just the fact that they have pulled this off 3 times in a row-I am actually still amazed that he did it. They just have a powerhouse behind them with Jimmie at the wheel, Chad Knaus on the pit box, Rick Hendrick at the helm, and all of the other people in the Hendrick corporation that help make, equip, repair, and work on the 48 car.

Even previous champions and other competitors are giving him respect and the recognition he deserves, and it is pretty cool. I have really enjoyed cheering for Jimmie since he popped up on the scene (I am not a bandwagon jumper!), and I definitely think I picked a good one!! ;)

So...congratulations Jimmie Johnson (since I know you will be reading this!) on an incredible moment in history!! Cheers to you and the entire Hendrick organization, and I look forward to watching you for many more years to come!!

Hi Kat,
Well since Jimmie couldn't be here to sign your guest book I came by to sign it for him. I may be a long lost relative of his anyway since my mom's maiden name is Johnson hehe. Love ya!

Jimmie is great. So glad he won. Pretty much for me ... as long as it wasn't Carl Edwards (I'm not a fan of people who beat up their team mates and everyone else they disagree with).

Grrrrrr. Even if they are/were teammates, I'm a Gordon fan.

I think it's rigged that JJ wins so much at Charlotte. Just HAPPENS to be his sponsor's track!
