I just returned from an awesome Women in Missions Retreat with 26 other wonderful missions minded ladies, and it was such a blessing! We asked the question "What If...?" and the resounding answer that came back was "Choose peace!!" No matter where we are or where we go...God is right there with us, and by choosing Him...we choose peace and rest in His will. That seems like such a hard concept to grasp as we look around at this world, especially when we are in the midst of wars and everything seems to be in chaos, but God tells us that if we seek Him, we will find peace-even in the midst of hardship. Just look at this:
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid". ~John 14:27
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world". ~John 16:33
"Aim for perfection, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you". ~2 Corinthians 13:11
"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus". ~Philippians 4:7
"Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace". ~Colossians 3:15
I pray that you will choose peace today and every day...and may the true Prince of Peace bless your decision!
