Thanks for the suggestions from my previous post...Lindsey definitely wins the prize for the most suggestions (I'll get with ya on what that is later!) Soooo...anyone want to go skydiving with me? Then we can land in someone's yard and wrap their house!! Come on...you know you wanna!! :)
So, right now it is the middle of March and it is 32 degrees. There are 11 inches of snow on the ground in Amarillo...you gotta love Texas and of course our motto, "You don't like the weather? Stick around for awhile and it'll change!" I remember a few years back it actually snowed in Lubbock on my b-day. It was literally 80 degrees that day and by late that night we had about 3 inches of snow on the ground. It was crazy-but beautiful!! I was convinced that it was God's birthday present to me...well ok, I still am convinced!! I did just take my snowman down in my room-I am completely obsessed with them now, so I couldn't just leave them up for a month-I decided to leave them up at least through February...and it was definitely time to take them down!! I am ready for Spring-I even wore pink pants today to help bring it on. I think it is supposed to be in the 60's tomorrow...
Only 10 more days of Lent left...wow, this has taken a LOT more discipline than last year...but what a great experience!! It has actually gone by a lot faster, and I have decided that each month I need to sacrifice something different for the sake of relying more fully on God. I am definitely not near as disciplined as I need to be, so I figured why just do it once a year?!
I am applying for a full time job in Lubbock that (dare I admit?) I REALLY want-so please pray that God's will would be done!! They will begin doing interviews next week, and I am anxious!! I still haven't found a good balance of peace in my life...still working on that. I just feel like my brain is on full throttle overload these days!! 6 more weeks of school...I will survive (Go ahead-I'm singing with ya)!!
Hope you are all having a tremendously wonderful week!!
