For those of you who are curious-the sermon went exceptionally well. I would have never thought that I would actually enjoy preaching, but I really did. I was not even that nervous and I felt incredibly empowered. God took over, that is for sure!! My passage was from Acts 2 on the Holy Spirit coming on the day of Pentecost. How can you not be impacted by that passage? The deeper I got into it and the more I spoke...the more convicted I became. I wish I would've had more time to prepare-I believe I would have been able to dig deeper into the message, but I am thankful for this opportunity. What an incredible experience-I am looking forward to my next one!!
I am in the midst of cleaning my house since my mom and aunt are coming to stay for the weekend-I am really excited they are coming!! I am also really looking forward to next weekend-ZOE is coming to Lubbock!! :) I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Blessings~

Hey, so I'm guessing you're going to Zoe? I am too. I have never heard of it before, but apparently it's a big deal. Am I right? Anyways, I don't know what to expect, but from what I've heard it should be really good. And I am looking forward to something really good!!!!
so awesome Kat....I love it when convicted women preach. Well, I love it when ANYONE who preaches is convicted, but you know me! Always the feminist ;0)
I'd love to hear what you had to say. Like you said, "how can you not be impacted...?" What a great experience. Isn't it awesome when you know you're not speaking but words are coming out of your mouth?
